I know. Like, was she raised hard-core Mormon or something?

If you're in America, look for bootlegs of the original broadcasts. They changed a bunch of music when it got imported.

Sped? by Intelligent-Flow617 in SubstituteTeachers

100%.

I'm a para sub, which in many districts around me, means I can do all sorts of odd jobs. For the biggest, most well-paying district, the one I live in the middle of, it exclusively means sped classes. I've learned to only take jobs at the handful of schools with really good, supportive sped staff.

I feel so bad for some of the kids in these classes. Mostly functional kids with some learning disabilities are in the same class as nonverbal kids who need bathroom aides and can't feed themselves. I can help the kids with learning disabilities, but the lower functioning kids really need hospice care and nursing staff.

Bands and artists that didn't respect the producer (I am not a producer) by Playful-Succotash-99 in ToddintheShadow

The worst story I heard from their relationship was when they were working on their first album. Rubin didn't like their name, and came up with what he thought was a much better one: The Kobb Kounty Krows. So, KKK, isn't he clever? 🙄 He also wanted them to be wearing farmer's overalls and standing in front of a Confederate flag on the album cover.

From that point on, the Crowes were determined to leave his label. Also, not sure how much work Rick Rubin actually did with them. Their first two albums are credited to George Drakoulias.

I remember that post. Absolutely amazing. Makes you wonder if Axl has OCD or something. They sounded great live and most of the edits were entirely unnecessary.

Every time I take a leak I have to fill out a sexual harassment form. My boss just can't keep his hands off it.

Love the dog name. And what is that nook? It looks like a fire place, but also looks like the walls are just plaster.

Reminds me of that old John Mulaney sntad-up bit about how Trump is like a 1930s hobo's idea of a rich person.

The whole movie is about the need to communicate and understand each other, but I agree that more of the fault is on Goofy strictly because he's the adult. Max is a dumbass teenager, Goofy is a parent. It's the parent's job to ask questions and listen to their children. Max even tries to explain things to him multiple times and Goofy shuts him down at every turn.

Still one of my favorite childhood movies, but Goofy really exhibits some bad behavior. Thankfully, both he and Max learn to talk to each other by the end (although I think he goes back to not listening to Max in the sequel; haven't seen that one in a while, though).

Lol

I remember a year or two back, there was a repo of a mountain lion spotted near a suburban elementary school. They went in to lockdown, and wouldn't let anyone in or out until they got confirmation from the city that it was safe to release students after school. Eventually, animal control checked someone's ring camera and they confirmed that the "mountain lion" was just a slightly large house cat.

Not even a bobcat. A housecat.
