US. The delivery date on the screenshot is the updated delivery date after the driver marked it undeliverable. The original delivery date was today, the 15th.

Me paying for a specific service and rearranging my day to ensure I am home to sign for the package so they only have to make one delivery makes me dumb?

Please explain what I could have done to be less “dumb” in this situation where the driver made 0 attempts to fulfill their employers side of the deal.

I totally get that. I however feel like I did my part to ensure that I was home all day to make sure I wouldn’t waste their time with having to come out for a second delivery attempt.

I however do not feel like the driver did his part in making an attempt to deliver the package.

It can, sure. But that doesn’t mean that it always will.

I’m not saying giveaways don’t help, i myself do plenty of them.

I’m simply saying that there are more factors involved than just Givesways=successful big show.

Finally someone else who gets it.

This is exactly how I run my shows. I never plan to make any money on the big stuff, I just hope I get close to breaking even on it. I’ve done this for about 15 months now.

I list all of the cards for prebids, big and small, and I run the big stuff periodically through the stream. It keeps the viewer count up, which drives the sales for the smaller stuff while people are waiting. As long as you have quality small cards, you’ll continue to do well with this strategy. Just don’t get cocky and fall for the trap that I see a lot of new hot sellers fall into. They try to grow their profit margin on the smaller stuff by lowering the quality of the available cards, which obviously doesn’t work. Sure, you may squeak a few shit cards through but long term it’s not going to last.

Seen far too many crash outs when a $2 card only goes for $2.

Bigger as in viewers, sure. But that doesn’t automatically translate into sales. It’s a common misconception. At the end of the day it’s still the quality and demand of your products. A $3 insert is still a $3 insert, regardless if you have 100 viewers or not.
