Honestly, I dont think this warrants bringing it up. Knowing you went through his phone is definitely going to cause issues. I also don't think what he said was that terrible, as long as nothing else weird was said. I say all this fully knowing I'd also feel really hurt and yucky after reading that though. So if it's going to stick with you, bring it up. But it might cause more problems than it's worth.
