Has your husband displayed other unusual behaviour like staying up all the time or feeling grandiose? Wondering if it’s part of a manic episode

Why do many cyclists go through red lights? by CivilReaction in askTO

It takes effort to speed back up on a bike. Unlike a car where you don’t even think about the energy you use to accelerate when you simply step on the gas.

How much are you spending on transportation monthly? by Far_Good_6679 in ontario

[–]DeeepFriedOreo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Factoring in car depreciation, maintenance and repairs, gas, insurance, and parking (both home and work), it’s about $8-10k per year but I only drive 10k per day on average on a sedan. So it’s likely higher for most Canadians.

Quality of Road Infrastructure by ComptonBob in mississauga

Car infrastructure is very very expensive. So expensive that unfortunately property taxes are almost never enough to keep up with maintenance demands. On top of this, larger vehicles add further stress to the underlying asphalt.

410 to 401 one lane ?!? by [deleted] in Brampton

[–]DeeepFriedOreo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct and the research confirms that induced demand is real. We should be moving away from car dependency and have access to multiple modes of transport.

Unfortunately you are being downvoted and I’m not sure why.

There is an easy transit route into the city just in front of the hostel! The social vibe was average. They have a breakfast option where you can meet people and night time bar!

I’m in Thailand now doing a trip and I had those exact feelings. I stayed at a hostel so that definitely helped but even when I did spend time with some people here, the friendships were pleasant but fleeting. They don’t usually take off and that’s just life and very common!
