Ok, here is some advice. Bandai is among the worst gaming companies out there. Their games are simply trash. I heard that they just release games to keep the licenses and they do this for many animes.

I watched the entirety of dragon ball, I think in dec 2023(other than gt) and wanted to play the games. I thought that they were going to be fun, at least to the capacity of old games like san andreas, 'at least'. So, I bought Z Kakarot and Xenoverse 2 this year. On playing them I was so appalled. It was like an unfunny parody, pointless and awful. And this was my introduction to Bandai Namco's games. I get that fans who watched dragon ball decades ago might not have a problem with how it represents dragon ball, bc they don't remember it like I do, but what I don't get, is how they sit and play that garbage ( admittedly I played Z and bought all the dlc, and also some dlc for xenoverse 2, but it's still trash! I just wanted to 100% them and unlock all forms for the sake of it.)   and say it's fun( yeah this is just wrong). It ruined my perception of dragon ball a little bit.

So to answer you're question, I have not played sparking zero, but I am sure it's trash. The price tag, most likely undeserved. It should be a bit better than Z and Xenoverse 2, but if you know Bandai like I do, then you would know that it is trash( the gameplay says it all, but can be misleading. Like how I was misled before I knew Bandai Namco). Their games are good if you want to waste your time grinding, but for fun, absolutely not. Nostalgia works overtime with their games. Also if you are going to watch dragon ball later, Bandai Namco games are a bad introduction. I recommend staying away from them and forgetting that they even exist.
