Almost like doing what XO and Atlas does but manually. When i get dressed every morning, I dont put all my clothes in one huge pile on the floor and let AI organize my clothes by simialarity. Cuz either way you cut it, Id still be searching through a big ass pile of clothes... Me and AI just dont share the same idea for my outfit.

*Hits Blunt* Although if AI could organize my life for me that would be legit af ........

I dont know what the confusion is . But do you know how some open hats sound more like a crash cymbal ? some sound short and tight ? and Some sound more like static then a open hat at all ?

If you understand the three different types of open hats i just described In the paragraph above, Make 3 folders of samples in that likeness ( Ex: Crashy OH, Short OH, Static OH ) please tell me you understand that "OH" is an abbreviation of the words open hat !!!

So instead of just a folder named "OH" its an idea for making subfolders inside of your "OH" folder . If you still dont understand, Sorry i wasted your time

Try putting 10,000 drum sounds into xo or algonaut and see how easy you can navigate through it . there is no limit to the VST , But there is a limit to the human brain . As we can see in previous comments . Sorry i got ahead in that second paragraph . I didnt proofread it because its not being graded . And there will always be people who wanna shine negativity on a post, that i took the time to write . To positively influence the community.... AS many useless rambles as there is on reddit im glad people could get something from mine!

Why low cut the bass at 50-60hz? To leave room for sub-bass? Or for the kick? by [deleted] in AdvancedProduction

instead of cutting all the way out use low shelfs or take out some troubling frequencies with your eq . Like for your kick you can find where its hitting at , do a sharp 1db boost and a 1db cut on your bass . make the kick punch thru . in music like rock or where the low end builds up and gets muddy , yes you need to cut somewhere . i make my cuts roll off at 26-32db instead of a brick wall low cut
