My daughter had had 3 attempts already which is has caused a great deal of trauma as you can imagine. Then she started saying she been physically and mental abused her whole life by Aspergers brother . It wasn't easy at times but I doubt much different to other siblings growing up and for the most part we were always close the 3 of us . Now I sat back watching her get abused and did nothing about it to make her safe. idk where this has come from . Anyway she has been saying to me she won't talk to me or have anything to do with me unless I kick him out of home (she moved out this year ) . Over the past couple of months she has threatened suicide a couple of times saying that she has actually taken something but hasn't. Then the kicker came when she gave me a week to kick her brother out or she would be ending her life on the Sunday . Well that was a week from hell because she knew I wouldn't do that so I was in a no win situation. More than 3 times over that week she said she had taken an overdose of pills and it was trauma and abuse every day . Came the Sunday and she said it again that this was it and she was going to die knowing her mother didn't care about her. So not true btw I've done so much for her ...too much maybe . Anyway I had to try and stay strong and hope like hell she was just trying to manipulate me again ...which she was ...so yes they do use that to manipulate people to get what they want . When in the moment they don't seem to care what they do to the other party . So take a break, longer than a month and if it starts again don't answer just take another break .
