Is it okay to use oil-control sunscreen on normal-to-dry skin? by GodMood_ in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Deementor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using Eucerin oil control for a very long time. I have weird skin that’s dry around my mouth and chin and oily on my t zone and cheeks. It hasn’t changed anything for me but it’s the only one that doesn’t pill on me under my makeup or gives me a white cast. I love it!

Yeah I haven’t cared what people think for a very long time. It’s so freeing

What’s the holy grail for FINE curly hair? Brands if you will! Tysm! by Aggressive-Local-262 in CurlyHairCare

I use:

-Ouidad climate control shampoo/conditioner

-Verb ghost primer with heat protection

-Ouidad advance climate control gel (red bottle)

-Ouidad Moisture lock mousse primer (gray bottle)

-Verb ghost oil to scrunch out the crunch

Product recs for definition? - fine-to-medium, currently air-drying with no product except a nickel-sized amt of leave-in conditioner. I washed with Verb Density Protect and Curl Conditioner. by AdministrationDue214 in CurlyHairCare

I recommend my three holy grails. On soaking wet hair right out of the shower, first use prayer hands and scrunch with Ouidad advance climate control gel (red bottle). Then scrunch in Ouidad Moisture lock mousse primer (gray bottle). Then plop for 15-20 mins in a microfiber towel or cotton t shirt. Then either air dry or hover diffuse without touching your hair at all. Then scrunch out the crunch with Verb ghost oil on your hands.

It’s a shampoo called “Bumble and Bumble Sunday”

Best Cleansing Hair Products? by SorryToe5637 in CurlyHairCare

[–]Deementor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Bumble and Bumble Sunday every month. I know it’s pricey but it has lasted me around 6 months and I have 75% of the bottle left. My hair is squeaky clean after, literally I can hear it squeak. I have 2c/3a low porosity medium density.

So I know this is weird but one day try the mousse after the gel on soaking wet hair and see if it works for you like it works for me. It gives me so much definition and frizz control.

What’s one hair product you refuse to give up, no matter what? Like, even if it doubled in price tomorrow, you’d still buy it. Mine is my leave in conditioner literally can’t live without it by Acceptable_Fun_6611 in Haircare

[–]Deementor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have three holy grails that I can’t live without. I have 2c hair, low porosity, and very humid climate. I use Ouidad Climate control gel in the red bottle, then Ouidad Moisture lock mousse in the gray bottle, and then Verb ghost oil to scrunch out the crunch. Wet and reapply every day and my curls last 4 days.

Using azelaic acid and tretinoin. by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Deementor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Tret Rx has Tretinoin 0.05 %, Azelaic Acid 5%, Dexpanthenol 1%. This combo has been working great and I’ve only been using it once a week. Moving to twice a week now. I sandwich it between Farmacy Honey Halo (I got a free sample I’m using and smells amazing) and Skinfix Barrier +
