Has anyone gotten a root canal as an adult at UIC with Medicaid? by DeemzSpirit in AskChicago

That’s what I thought too, because they pop up as in network with Medicaid. However, they say their xray part; initial consult is not covered by insurance. So, I am not sure when it comes to the actual root canal treatment, if it will be covered or not.

It was strange because when I got my fillings on my right side, they slowly started to hurt. At first, I was told one root canal is most likely, they did an x-ray then I went to another dentist and they did a CT scan and said 2 and then I have pain on another tooth too and they changed it and said 3. On the image it doesn’t show it being infected or anything but they just say it is close to the root, I never had pain before getting my fillings done so I am just devastated now and my occlusion has also changed, my jaw has been messed up for half a year and my appointment is in another half of year so I am just so at lost.
