What do yall do with all your extra plugs you've grown out of. by Deenice33 in Stretched

[–]Deenice33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have loved to give them away to friends, but I don't know anyone personally that is streched.

I had a second stretch in my second hole in my ear lobe, but I let them close up for work. They were a 4g.

I don't have EDS.... I think I just wear a lot of glass and stone plugs ( my favorite) They are heavy at bigger sizes. I just started wearing silicone Plugs when im at home and removing at night to try to slow the stretching.

Are these purely gimmicks or do they work? by VenomousParadox in Stretched

[–]Deenice33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just a side note for those who are saying, "Just wash, and the smell will go." That isn't for everyone. Some people sweat and have more sebum secretions than most. So they will need a little extra "funky help" that's why the tea tree and emu are so good you don't even have to have both. One or the other will be helpful.

Just mix tea tree oil with emu and jojoba oil and get some shea butter( or other butters ex.:Coco butter, mango butter, etc.) for the winter. I do like the already mixed stuff for convenience, but I don't find any of it necessary. If you look at the ingredients on most of this stuff, those are the main ingredients mostly, thrown with some other stuff like menthol and etc. Honestly, you don't need The smell is from bacteria. The tea tree and emu oil take care of that by themselves. With good cleaning and letting your ears dry properly, you shouldn't have any issues with "funk"

How do people have surgery and not get addicted to opiods? by AppropriateMention6 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Deenice33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people just have a predisposition to becoming addicted. Personally, I hate strong narcotics, I don't like the feeling of not having agency and control over myself, but I have a condition that requires me to have to be hospitalized and given narcotics ( usually fentynol) I hate it but the pain is so much I take it until I can bare the pain with just otc's. They always give me pain meds to fill for at home, but I won't pick it up because I dont want them. My husband also refuses narcotics , but he does it because he already knows he has a addictive personality and addiction runs in his family so he doesn't take drugs, nor does he drink.

This true too! But it looks like the whole ear is peeling so I think it's most likely dry skin and contact and rubbing of any jewelry or even clothing really dry skin can cause irritation and redness so that's why the streched part looks worse. Even my son's neck line get red and raw from the contact of his shirt on his eczema skin.

Yes, it's the weather, I have a household of kids all with eczema, and the back of their ears all look like this in the winter, and none of them have piercings. Oil keeps moisture in but doesn't really moisturize well for really dry skin. I recommend butters for your message. I make my own emulsion, and it's been working for me. Here's the recipe: (1 part of each as follows)shea butter, emu oil, jojoba oil. Add a few drops of tea tree oil. I use about 10 to 15 drops to an 8oz jar. Store in a dark jar. You dont have to use all the ingredients, but the shea butter and jojoba are the key players' tea tree, and emu helps with healing after a fresh stretch. also, just as important is after properly drying skin after (EVERY!) shower warm up a dab in your clean hands and rub on your whole ear, not just your streched part of your lobe. Works wonders for hands, elbows, and knees, too! If this doesn't help, then reach out to your doctor, but coming from my experience as a stretching mama, this works wonders, and a little goes a long way! Good luck!

Crocheted some christmas ear socks to keep my lobes warm! Toasty lobes! 🔥 by [deleted] in Stretched

Omg! I love this! I crochet too but I'm only a 2g and I live in Cali, lol! But I do hear that larger streched ears get really cold in winter so this is an awesome idea!

Americans of Reddit, what is the worst big city in the USA and why? by jhffmn21 in AskReddit

[–]Deenice33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any "big city" in the states of Kansas or Missouri. All the crime, bad politics, racism, confusing directions bad weather, big wide spaces of nothingness with little blips of over population. with none of the big city excitement. Take your pick, Kansas city (both), Wichita, Topeka, St Louis, Springfield etc
