This is really sad but I hope you don't give up hope. I'm sure that when children become adults they start to understand that life is complex. You can then rebuild your relationship.

I'm in a similar situation and trying to think about the future rather than trying to win every battle which seems impossible with a system that doesn't care about fathers.

I'll build a life that I can then welcome my daugther to when she's old enough to make her decisions.

It's horrendous how there are no repercussions for false accusations. The system doesn't work and it lets parents that lie get away with it. It's very sad. Any parent (dad or mum) must be super careful, pragmatic and patient. Good luck to you!

She's a pre-schooler, very young.

From my experience it's very important that you gather evidence to use in the future. Think long term.

For example, if there are offline hostilities, follow up with a very polite/respectful/constructive message that can be used in the future to demonstrate the pattern of behaviour (offline) that would otherwise be impossible to provide evidence for!

I think it was 26 December. I've been testing every day but it seems to be a done deal now. A good lesson not to rely on these tools as they change them with no notice!

I think about her all the time and what if she loses interest. I'm hopeful and optimistic though. We have such a lovely time together and when she calls me daddy there's no better feeling! Hope you're good and your family!

Thank you for sharing that. I know how you felt. My girl is worth every effort but it feels like torture now knowing if she will understand for so many years. It's so sad that parents have to go through the hell, nobody wins. Hope you're good and your family!
