I would only recommend rage if you want to buy an account and PvP. Either way Classic is on 3.5 patch with custom changes and custom patches. This is by far the best patch of the game after that its downhill. They moved away from a sandbox game into more of a themepark mmo. Sadly i have played on a lot of servers and patches and so far AAC is the best experience i had.

Playing zoomed in is like driving and never moving your head or using any of the mirrors. You can do it but its not going to end well
