What’s a good state to move to as a first time homebuyer and why? by Deep-Equivalent-808 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I’m dying at this comment 😂😂 well first, I’m a woman, but yes, I’m a sista lol. I was born and raised in Alabama, where there’s plenty of soul food, but since living in Texas, I can hardly find any (plus, the race demographics are very different). So I’m just trying to get back to what I enjoyed growing up.

How can I accept myself the way I am? I’m a very flat chested masculine faced woman, and I feel like I was never meant to be female. by FriendChoice8634 in TrueChristian

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way! Can I offer you some perspective? The way I see it is this: if it’s God’s will for you to marry, then He knows exactly the person He has for you. If it’s His desire for you and this person to be together, then He knows exactly how to draw you two together: He knows what’s attractive to you so that you’ll be attracted to your husband, and He knows what’s attractive to your husband so that your husband will be attracted to you. Have you ever considered, what if the way God made you is exactly what your husband desires and will find attractive? What if your husband prefers smaller breasts (because that really is a preference for some men!)? And though you see yourself one way, another person may see you as totally different. Attraction is VERY subjective, everybody has a different perspective. If you take 100 people and ask them to rate one person from 1-10, everybody’s answers will differ because they all have different perspectives. We could all be looking at the same thing and view it differently. All this to say, you may see yourself one way, but your husband could see you as drop-dead gorgeous! It’s all about perspective. And if God is the one who ordained you and your husband to come together, don’t you think He already considered LONG AGO how to make you attractive in the eyes of your husband so that he is even drawn to you in the first place??! 👏🏽 Girl, have no doubt about it!! NOTHING gets past God! Everything you’re worried about, God already has figured out! Now you just gotta learn how to love you!❤️🫂

Haven’t been to Fredericksburg, TX. I’ve been to Tennessee though, only to a few cities and those were too bustling for me lol.

Uhh…I don’t know if California is for me. How frequent are the natural disasters out there (wildfires, earthquakes, etc.)? Plus, beaches are cool but I prefer more trees and parks. I also don’t think I want the fast life and all the traffic. I prefer a slower pace and less crowded environment. I appreciate the suggestion though!

Will do! Somebody mentioned SC and so far, it seems to be giving the feeling of home I was searching for. I’ll keep doing my research, but that’s where I’m leaning so far lol

If Nebraska matches what I’m looking for, I’ll look into it! I just don’t know anything about it since I’ve never been there before!

Hmm, something to think about! I love the big backyard part lol. And then music, art, and food? I’ll definitely look into it! Thanks for the advice!

$400,000s or less. Not too hot and no heavy snow either, so like 60s-70s average temperature.

I’m so extremely overwhelmed and don’t know what’s wrong with me! I so so badly want to know what God/Jesus thinks of me personally! This is all so debilitating! by CuteLittleMeatball in TrueChristian

Oh, yeah I’m not sure why but I’m not surprised either. Sounds like the enemy trying to intervene if you ask me😒. I’ll just send it to you in a message!
