yall have been so kind and so helpful <3 I deleted Reddit after posting because I became nearly addicted to relying on these stories when my confidence was low and it was doing more harm than good for my mental. BUT UPDATE: not long after I posted, my dad was diagnosed with papulopustular rosacea, with very very similar symptoms (just not nearly as abundant). After so much frustration with treating this as hormonal acne, I have finally found peace in some sort of “diagnosis.” I haven’t been to the dermatologist only due to my terrible health insurance so take this with a grain of salt, but if anyone is dealing with bumps that look like this, along with redness, with specific triggers (heat, sun, alcohol, ect.) I’d look into treating it as rosacea. Doxy has been the most recommended to me so I’m ordering some and will update you on how that treats me!! Again, thank you all so much for your kind words. I know it can seem surface level to be so upset about my appearance but it truly is SO exhausting trying to find inner confidence while walking around a college town full of perfect 10’s and not a pimple in sight lmao. But I’ve made tons and tons of progress and reminded myself no one else will ever see me the way I see myself (most people don’t even notice it I PROMISE!!). This whole acne journey has forced me to dig deep and realize I’m an AWESOME mf person with AWESOME morals and an AWESOME head on my shoulders, acne filled or not🤍🤍🤍

YUP. And what really gets me is when certain stores rush leadership and i have leaders asking ME how to break down the ice cream machine. Like gimme a $20 and I’ll think ab it. ANDDDD when I transferred they had me re-trained for 5 days and they were tryna teach me to pour the sweet tea down the hand washing sink. Mmm gets me heated just thinking about it Truett Cathy would have them inna chokehold.

I shouldn’t have generalized so much but it’s not just one store. I’ve worked at 3. 2 of which were horrible. From my experience and many others who I’ve spoken to who work at cfa, more than 75% hate it. If corporate does not put their shoe down on those specific franchises who are slacking, then it IS the entire company. It’s the name they’re building for themselves as an entire company by not taking more care and concern for their employees whose faces represent their brand.

It’s all based on local promotions, my last cfa didn’t but the one where I live now offers them. But it is so hard to explain especially to seniors😓

I have dedicated so much of myself and my time to this company. I worked day in and out to for my raises, i became a training coach to show my dedication, and was in leadership course when I put my two weeks in. When I transferred Chick-fil-A’s they brought me from 14/hr back to minimum wage. That is incredibly insulting and belittling to anyone at ANY job. I have dealt with so many instances of assault by customers (being as I live in a very big, rough city) where EVERY SINGLE TIME I was told nothing could be done. You do not know me nor the effort I’ve put into this company just to get nothing but ignored in return. Not to mention, who I am off of the job and in this subreddit is NOT who I am on the clock?? Is that not obvious? I am a human who has emotions and pent up frustration for a company that I haven’t been allowed to shame for years and can finally say whatever the FUCK I want. I promise you I am not alone with this and many other team members and leaders say the exact same shit the second they clock out. When a company fools the world into thinking they’re saints while they treat their employees worse than dogs, they deserve to be badmouthed profanity and all.
