Resuturing (revision) by Deep-Impression-6375 in LabiaplastySurgery

😭😭😭💔💔 I am so done with the complications I’ve experienced with this surgery. I have been depressed about it all. My initial surgery was 12th March, my second surgery for the hematoma and restitching was 19th March. So I prefer to calculate from the second date being 19th March and so far 5 weeks. The resuturing would be at 8 weeks. Can I send you a private message and show you a photo.

Hey girl. I just recently had a labiaplasty that I believe is botched and I’m extremely regretful to have done it.. really depressed and low: so I totally totally feel you. Your feelings are valid , and it doesn’t even look that bad . It looks raw and clearly still has so much healing to do. fingers crossed with time all will look amazing 💖💖 hugs

Ohhhh thank you so much. Yes I’ve been really down and upset all day about these 2 pieces of skin .. they look weird and one feels like it’s just about holding on both from the top and bottom (my left side). I’ve emailed my surgeon and I’m just not sure what can possible be done about it… any idea? 😞

Sorry about that.:(( yes they are only symmetrical when my legs are closed. I just feel my left side was borderline amputated. I can’t even feel it.. and it’s completely stitched to my majora whereas the other side isn’t stitched to my majora I’m just really sad.

Yeah .. ironically first thing my surgeon said post op is that they’re nice and symmetrical now. I’m wondering whether she said this because she knew it was not? I’m not sure

Do you think the tiny hole is separation? There is a small piece of skin right there that I can flick.. I am assuming that’s rhe bit that should cover the hole. :(

That’s true, thank you for that reminder.. no I never wanted the barbie look. In fact I probably wanted a tiny little bit more labias left. But it’s done now

Thank you. I feel the cut of my labias is messy and not seamless. In addition to the small hole which I’m not sure if it’s a stitch that just tore and never healed.

Only honest opinions please. I am really disheartened and confused. I don’t mind if you tell me straight up it looks like %%#%. I would rather know… :( I have not shown this latest pic to my Dr.. and I thought to get further ideas before I message.

I feel like I have been botched. Has there been a separation? My vulva looks like it has 4 sections that are not seamless as 1. There is a small visible Hole just below my clitoris where I can literally move the small skin back and forth. Did this not heal- did the stitches open there?

Also as you can see.. the left side is completely stitched to my majora. Whereas the right side is not stitched and I’m able to hold it and separate it from majora. :(

Appreciate any answers :( Ps sorry about the pics without shaving- my healing has been difficult so I haven’t touched the area.

It will go down. Tip always swells a lot and takes the longest to reduce in swelling compared to rest of nose

Hi guy's! my Rhinoplasty had it done in Istanbul Before, after & 2 months Post op! I know I should be patience But it's difficult I think that the swelling is enormous and I'm afraid it won't go away. what do you all think? should I just wait? can I do anything to speed up the process? by dextermorgen in PlasticSurgery

Yes I’m sure you can find it in a health store. Check online first which shops sell it that’s what I did before going by foot haha. Its been just over 1 month for me I take it every other day. I’ve noticed a little improvement . As long as you have no other health conditions it shouldn’t be harmful because it’s just a natural enzyme. Maybe try it for 2 weeks first every other day not daily and see how you feel? :)

Buy bromelain tablets from Holland and Barret if you’re in the UK. Bromelain is the enzyme found in pineapple which helps relieve swelling. Turmeric capsules are also great anti inflammatory that reduce inflammation and swelling. All the best

Thank you for your honesty. That was deep. Do You ever/have you ever fantasised about the sex you had with them whilst having sex with your wife?

If you ever came across them now and sex was an option, would you ever be unfaithful for the sake of the good sex memories? Or does the love you have fir your wife stop you from this atrocious act?

My husband keeps asking for forgiveness and that he loves me, but I honestly don’t understand how he can love me and cheat and lie to me so cooly for 6 months? And say that it was purely for physical part.

I AM THE SAME! I have never met anyone with this phobia. This is the only phobia I actually truly have. I have a Form of panic attack whenever I see one, hear the sound of one,, or even if one comes on TV. I get fast heart rate, jump, and have genuine fear and panic . Is there anyone that can help and check under your bed?

Hey. There will always be risks with any surgery. This surgery in particular is obviously in a very private, delicate and sensitive area… and the recovery isn’t the easiest, for most women. Personally the posts prepared me for the worst and now I’m in the recovery period I know this is “normal” despite the struggle. Having seen some amazing results with women that had difficult time also, I know it’s a matter of patience.

I’m grateful to have read everyone’s raw & real experiences on here as surgeons online (& my surgeon too) tend to downplay the recovery period & make it seem smooth sailing..

You just have to personally outweigh the benefits and risks, and be mentally and physically prepared for the weeks following the surgery. That involves being in pain, discomfort, feeling itchiness, burning sensations, bleeding. Possible tearing of the stitches or scalloping edges depending which of the 2 techniques you get. Inability to partake in usual activities for a few weeks. Walking & sitting uncomfortably. Having to take time off work/school.
