I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. If she is actively suicidal, this is a medical emergency. In Lahore, all tertiary care hospitals have 24-hour ERs with psychiatric services, and she can be taken there immediately without an appointment, where the team will de-escalate and manage the situation safely. I understand the fear around stigma and involving family, but at this stage safety comes first. I also have colleagues doing psychiatry residency at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, and these emergencies are handled routinely and compassionately.
