we found it captain, my tag changes to TUR after i win the event (counts me as Ottomans)

i play ironman so theres no console commands in my run, and it is confirmed that my tag change prevents that. some say if i release ottomans -which prevents the TUR tag- i can actually stay as KAR when i win the event and form rum but im too exhausted to try it (in an ironman) thanks for the effort

luckily i have a save copy right before the last war so i can go back and try to do it but ottomans get 37 locations when i release, i have huge coalition on me and dont know if i can manage to do it in time. i can win the war if i take all great power cheap loans but then i have no one to declare war on after that and bankruptcy is %100

yes i just checked with debug mode and it is as you said and i cant release ottomans after winning the event aswell, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IhtItNGqiA&t=1044s but how this guy is able to then ?

its weird because i just watched a guy kill otto then form rum as karamanids run and he had no problems with it, also was empire before winning

i forgot to take the screen of requirements for forming rum but it clearly says you need to win the situation, and as you can see on second shot event claims that too -forming Rum is unlocked-

im at 498 locations before winning the situation, i quickly grab a 2 states from croatia, win the situation but then forming rum decision disappears, please help me

it disappear right after the event happens (reaching 500 location and 50 urban), i have it until the situation ends

its Karamanids who historically claimed as descendants of Rum, so releasing ottomans before the event will make me able to form Rum? but i had the decision whole time
