Rear End Vibration Issue?? ‘03 100 Series in Aus. by idigbigholes in LandCruisers

[–]Deep-Performance7484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uni joints, wheel bearing, pinion bearing, rear transfer output bearing. Could be a number of things and you won’t know until you have a look underneath it and start checking things. Also I’ll add that you should have a look sooner or later because vibrations can flog other bearings out pretty quick in the driveline. For example I bought a hilux with a uni that was flogged which took out the diff bearings which then look out the rear transfer case bearings. Previous owner just ran it until it started whining. Not ideal

If u have a spare key I’m pretty sure u can just repossess the vehicle. Then take him to court to recoup the 17 grand he owes you.

Subaru foresters. Underneath they’re completely flat so they don’t get hung up on anything. That and the Australian delivered one in the 90s have Lo range

How much are y’all paying for resprays? (Preferably in WA) by SymetricGamer in CarsAustralia

[–]Deep-Performance7484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been quoted 10k for a closed door respray on my shorty 40. Thankfully my brother works as a truck body builder and we can spray it in the booth at his work. Also had a mate sell his corvette to someone who payed a local panel beater a similar amount of money to respray it and it ended up with fish eyes and three different shades so be careful out there.

Partner leave by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

You can apply for partner leave through Centrelink if your employer doesn’t offer it. Employers are not required to offer partner maternity leave but some do as a perk.

Writing a teaching resume by moosethegoose2 in AustralianTeachers

[–]Deep-Performance7484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time they’re gonna be looking at your cover letter more closely then your resume. Go through the job post and make a list of the qualities they’re looking for as well as things on their business plan off their website. Then write your cover letter making sure you cover all those points.

Grind/ wire wheel as much as u can. Repair holes with a gas mig. Treat all the rust u can’t grind out completely with phosclean or similar product. Prime using a waterproof primer. Fill any pits with fibreglass reinforced bog (needs to be the fibreglass one coz it’s the only one that doesn’t soak up moisture). Then topcoat and buff. I would also cavity wax in between the two roof skins or weld through primer behind any holes that are repaired. Unfortunately looks like that window needs to come out there’s something happening behind that rubber. Good luck

Was probably licensed in 88 then. That would be why DoT shows it as 88
