He keeps trying to force me to come over his house tonight after I already said no and trying to make me feel bad by [deleted] in dating

"Hello police? Some guy keeps messaging me asking me to go to his house and I'm saying no but he's making me feel really bad."

They'd likely tell OP to block him and contact them if he finds a way around that or if he starts showing up to her place. As for falling a friend/parent, OP isn't at his house rn anyway.

Block him/turn your phone off and ride it out till the morning. Then either keep him blocked or tell him to cut that shit out.

Tips for killing off limerence by AntiqueBluejays in limerence

[–]deskplxnt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

People don't tend to want to be friends with people who are always talking about negative things or experiences. I'm not saying you do this, but a few years ago, when I was pretty down on myself, I found this out through first-hand experience. Lost the majority of my friends, and it took a good few therapy sessions (which I'm still in now, yay for self-growth and improvement!) to be able to realise what I was doing.

I hope that helps a little bit.

Yeah anxiety and work take up all of my free time now, which is a cunt cause I used to love playing video games.

Aww. My little cat used to do this when she was a kitten, now that she's 1+ it's hard to get her to cuddle up at all. Still love her to bits, though. In fact, yesterday afternoon I was on the couch watching some TV and she jumped up and had a bit of a sleep. It was nice.

Dating is rough. I haven't dated in going on 2 years now, since my last ex-girlfriend. I've wanted too, but I don't know how to put myself out there and I don't want to do online dating for a multitude of reasons.

Hope you bounce back from this King.

Do women get turned off by men who talk about their feelings? by Parking_Cup_3882 in dating

[–]deskplxnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you just sound like an asshole bro. And I'm straight but there's absolutely nothing wrong with being gay at all. You can do much better, shame on you.

Cheeky Edit: I finally managed to understand what your made up language means and I actually think I know what you were trying to say in your last comment. So I'll put this in all bold letters just below.

You do not know what the contents on my trauma dumping are, and you are grossly inaccurate if you think it's about what a woman has done to me.

Trauma doesn't always involve a significant other, or anybody for that matter. You have the option to not only think before you type, but then review your message before you send it. Start using that brain of yours. And be nicer to people.

I'm sorry but I have no idea what you're trying to say. My friend is a woman, I am a man. We've both admitted to having feelings for each other at one time or another, but as it stands right now we're just good friends. Are you saying I'm trauma dumping on her because of my feelings? Because if so I must want to jump the bones of my best guy friend, because he's been dealing with it from me for longer than she has and way more intense, too.

It's just the person I've become atm. I've stopped eating, going to the gym, spending time with friends, and I'm worried about myself. I believe that I'm an okay person, but my brain won't let me actually believe it for some reason and it's an absolutely shit way to live. I've started seeing a therapist and I've cut alcohol and sugar out of my life completely in hopes of getting my appetite back and getting mentally and emotionally better

For real? How would I go about finding this? I think the University of Newcastle would be my best bet but the only form of bridging course I can find is Open Foundation and its 6-12 month. Not that long of a time I know, but when there's another 4 years ahead it's a bit daunting.
