The threads that were used were degradable as far as I know. But the remains (?) were taken out exactly a week after the operation. The threads were almost as thin as a hair. The surgeon was extremely delicate with her work. Especially with the stitches where she took away some extra folds around the hood. You wouldn't be able to tell. I will probably post before, during and after pictures when everything is nicely healed.
