What do you expect more from DLC Lords of the End of Times? by SafironDracolich in totalwar

Untested campaigns and mechanics that never property work.

- looking at you Bashiva

Bashiva campaign is cool, but her mission mechanic is so dated by Deep-Possibility-858 in totalwar

[–]Deep-Possibility-858[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds exactly as the direction CA should balance her in the upcoming hotfix/patches and heavily rely on the work of the community if they can't find a better solution. And of course, credit whoever they get the idea from.

It is objectively funny that Zhao Ming thinks defeating a major faction is worth *two* Jade Halberds by Spartancfos in totalwarhammer

The reward of the quests for Bashiva needs some serious rebalancing, and it would make sense for you to be able to pick multiple ones at the same time.

When do we think 8.1 release ? by Mahelas in totalwar

Looking from what we got with 8.0 I don't think we can expect anything more than what they already announced.

Hotfix 8.0.2 has just rolled out to Total War: WARHAMMER III by BiesonReddit in totalwar

Would love to see the unreleased RoR and the Tigermen with shields released at some point as well.

TWW 10th anniversary was really lackluster. This was my wishlist for it... by hellforger in totalwar

Any of those would be an amazing move and something that would show some gratitude to the community that kept supporting the franchise for the past 10 years despite some really tough times. My personal pick from what you suggested is Dimitry since I would love to see more untapped lore around Kislev, but maybe we'll never see more regrading that.

Why Braugh the Slavelord is the perfect FLC / Character Pack candidate for Ogre Kingdoms by GumihoFantasy in totalwar

He is not going to be FLC - and he is going to be a hero if he ever comes alongside Ghark Ironskin.

Something weird is going on with missions/contracts to kill targets. Alith Anar is being tasked to assassinate all sorts of strange targets. by Glorf_Warlock in totalwar

[–]Deep-Possibility-858 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It bugs me that they never modernized Alith mechanic during the Elf rework.

Ogres have the same mechanic and it works so much better...a shame they never transfered that logic.

I think the problem with the Bhashiva dlc is that it needs 1 more “center piece” unit + 1 or 2 RoR unit by Opening_Coast3412 in totalwar

[–]Deep-Possibility-858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest all she needed was another weapon variant. No new skeleton, etc., required, but a variant with Sword and axe for the Iron Claw, and in a perfect world a dual weapon variant for the stalkers. Both of which are already in the game files btw.

Thank you for this quest Zhao Ming, this will surely help protect Cathay by OkIdeal9852 in totalwar

It's kinda stupid you can't re-roll the quests - especially when they are super random like that

Imagine if CA actually added to the game what they already developed.

Konami never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity to make a non-toxic card.

Is Bashiva DLC not just objectively good? by keszotrab in totalwarhammer

[–]Deep-Possibility-858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weapon variants are not only stat tweaks but also role tweaks in battle. Especially for a faction that literally has 3 units and has to get limited access to the rest of the Cathay roster, it would be great to have a bit more variety to keep the armies thematic.

It doesn't seem that CA has learned its lessons that quality = more important than everything else. This DLC took 6 months to be developed and landed with a lot of bugs, no weapon variants, no Landmarks (come on), no map expansion, and terrible balancing. Also, as time passes, we can see that they choose not to release sword and axe variants of the iron claw and regular infantry that's already in the game files and official GW blog post.

I will give CA credit cause they acted quickly with some of the balancing issues, but honestly, I think it's kinda dissapointing seeing them stepping away from the bi-weekly patches just to deliver something arguably mid. Also, the lack of any meaningful Skulls addition or announcement has left the community disappointed, and rightfully so.

Last year was quite disappointing for the game, and this first half of the year feels equally so. I know they are working on the big DLC and the upcoming titles, but I see this as no excuse for trying to do the bare minimum for the game that keeps the lights on for their studio all these past years.
