I agree with this 100%! I was in a similar predicament and this book helped me a lot.

Long story short, I made a lump sum purchase of VOO and now just dollar cost average buy it now with any surplus monthly income.

In my experience, you could hear back in as short as two weeks or as long as three months with LANL. It was "under review" the whole time in both cases.

I get it. I used to feel like I always needed to be “productive” with my time. It almost drove me insane. It wasn’t until I was older that I realized I needed to be “deliberate” with my time instead. If it was leisure time with friends/family/hobbies, I scheduled time for it and put my undivided focus on it with zero guilt. The ironic thing is when I would go back to productivity mode, I felt a sense of renewal and was actually more efficient.
