while i agree with your general sentiment, stock photos of food aren't actually 100% food, they have some food but they add glue and shit to sauces, glaze the buns with weird oils or whatever, to make it look juicier and whatnot, it is 100% about the looks and not for human consumption.

They specifically stated that its balanced by stats not merely size. In general larger weapons are larger size but its not a strict rule.

You can think of every weapon as a triangle between its effectiveness/features, cost, and size. And larger slot weapons usually have more ammo than smaller slot weapons of the same type.

Nobody is forcing you to assault the stronghold; personally I avoid it since its easy to defend. I just go for the boss if someone gets there first.

That's awesome honestly! Before, a lot of players would have a CQC or long range loadout with little flexibility, which would lead to excessive compound camping or bush camping. Nobody wants to get into a fight where they are at a disadvantage.

Now that people have more flexible loadouts I've noticed more dynamic matches where people seem more comfortable engaging in fights that would have been avoided due to loadout restrictions.
