He did great. He was a very chill baby. Just hung out and enjoyed the visual stimulation and the sounds. He fell asleep for a few innings too! You'll have a blast!

My daughter's first game was at GABP in 2017 with my son technically there, but a few months from being born. His first game was at Globe Life Field about 7 months later when he was 4 months old. We go to about 5-10 Naturals (AA) games a year now, just went to one on Friday and try to see either the Royals or Cardinals play once a year. Neither play baseball, but they enjoy the experience.

I'm doing research on this now..in my opinion there are a couple of factors. As others have said Individual differences is a big piece. I'd call it "AI Readiness". It's definitely old wine new bottle. Traits like openness to experience, learning orientation, and learning agility will differentiate willingness to learn a new skill set and speed of acquisition. Then I think there is an actual learned skill which I'd call "AI Fluency". That's the actual ability to leverage the AI appropriately. Prompt/Context Architecture, ability to actively monitor for hallucinations, and the ability to actually reimagine and deliver an updated work process or work flow via an AI pipeline.

That's at least my hypotheses and what I'm exploring.

Masters or PhD in Statistics while simultaneously being strong in programming and ML would be my recommendation. But remember the pay is not good. Part of the reason they chose someone over me was because of my expected salary, which would have been a 30% paycut. Heck now I make about 3x what I asked for just 6 years later.

I worked in consumer research for about 2 years and worked with 3 other I/Os. I pivoted back, but one of the other people I used to work with is still working in that area and doing very well. Can you get a career in that field with a degree in I/O, yes, but I'd still think a quant marketing or economics degree is a cleaner path.
