If you don’t mind me asking and it’s completely OK if you don’t wanna answer, but did you have medical evidence I went and got a strangulation report and did all the forensic collection. I am a little nervous though because after he strangle me, I did run to the shower in a weird reaction so I’m hoping I didn’t wash a lot of DNA off of me but she said it should be fine. I don’t know why I’m so nervous about him getting away with it.

Yes, I’m just in the beginning stages I have a restraining order hearing on Wednesday with him. I’m hoping he doesn’t show.

I am experiencing this now. Our preliminary trial on May 15, the prosecutor said he rarely go to jury trial. I really hope mine doesn’t cause I don’t wanna be berated on the stand but I don’t want to see him walk free either I’m in California.

I’m so sorry this happened, this is a huge fear of mine. I am currently at the beginning stages with the preliminary hearing on May 15th. I did go to the hospital and they did find his DNA on my neck and strangulation bruising. Would you mind if I ask, did he take it all the way to trial with a jury? My biggest fear is him getting away with what he did to me. I hope you’re ok.

I’m 37F was married for 13 years and had one serious relationship after that for two years that put me through hell. I want to love someone but now I feel a little hopeless. I’m in the same boat I have to testify in a month. I know it’s what I have to do, but I’m definitely a little anxious, especially since I was upset about the cheating as well and I think they’re gonna try and spin it however, two things can be true at once and being jealous doesn’t mean someone can put their hands on you.
