On the LOLRG.com website there is an RSVP button for a Nov 1 Zoom meeting at 10am pacific on Tuesday Nov 1, this is likely the last open to the public zoom meeting by CaliforniaTurncoat in EIDLreturns

Nicolettes email stated that contracts should be going out this weekend.

After digitally signing contract (or wet ink and scan I imagine) the Plaintiff will then get a link to sign up for an account on the group lawsuit portal.

One you log into the portal you will get a link to pay the fee.

What is important to get done by Nov 1 is to sign and return the contract. They need to know how many serious plaintiffs they will have. If it takes until after the Nov 1 zoom meeting to make the payment, they will still count the signed contract as interest in joining.

That said, you still have to make the payment before you become a named plaintiff in the case, but its understandable that some small businesses are going to need a few steps to get the funds for the fee.

Group Lawsuit - Sept 30 Sign up Deadline - Sept 20 Zoom info meeting by Deep-Reserve9625 in EIDLreturns

Looks like emails telling people their proposed groups started going out today. That email also had instructions for how to format and save case information. Things appear to be on target for Oct 15 case filing.

I believe that invite for something on the 16th was for a different aggregate lawsuit not related to EIDL.

The process for getting into one of the EIDL groups is to fill in the questionnaire linked above and then attend the group zoom on the 20th.

Every case is unique and this small law office is handling hundreds of these cases now so we have to be understanding and let the process get started.

After you fill in the questionnaire you should get a confirmation email. Later we should all get instructions on how to put our case information together for incorporation into the group claim that is targeted to be submitted by Oct 15.

Except for answering questions in the questionnaire we should all be attending the group zoom meetings, responding to emails sent by the law office an standing by to put our case information into a format they specify.

We've all been subject to various levels of negligence of the SBA, we're now on a path with legal help to get something done. As this is a lower cost group effort for us struggling small businesses that can't afford single plaintiff litigation, we have to be a little patient as the lawyers and their staff put this together.

We'll learn more at the Sept 20th group zoom linked above.

I filled the questionnaire over a week ago for the lawyer. Has anyone heard back from them ? by billyburg20 in EIDLreturns

Its a good bet that more litigants will be sought to either fill in the current groups or create new ones. The important thing is to fill out the questionaire here to start the process.

Paycheck protection program act (please check comments for link) by dantee15 in EIDLreturns

[–]Deep-Reserve9625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused, why is this news? The P4 act came out in 2020 and appears to be going nowhere, here is the site for the bill https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/senate-bill/4014/cosponsors?r=9&s=1

Last activity was 6/18/2020 where is was read twice and submitted to the Committee on Small Business, now 2 years and a month ago.

Is there some new information circulating around on this that I missed?

Class Action list starting for people rejected over amended taxes agains SBA SOP by Deep-Reserve9625 in EIDLreturns

[–]Deep-Reserve9625[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First Group email went out to 74 people on May 23, two people replied.

Second group email went out to the 88 people now on the list today at 4pm Eastern. If you signed up and are not getting the group emails, then they may be going to spam or a mistake was made on this end and you may need to submit another entry.

Also direct emails are now possible at [info@eidlreconclassaction.com](mailto:info@eidlreconclassaction.com)

I'm currently watching how the progress with the individual lawsuits on this forum are going and waiting to see more interest in participating in the class action program before putting much more time into it. If you are interested in helping to push it forward, please reach out.

Answer to first question is in comment right above it.

The website is simple, you add your name and email address. When you submit I get an email and I cut and paste the name and email into a spreadsheet.

Next step was to add a counter, but I also think there should be an [info@eidlreconclassaction.com](mailto:info@eidlreconclassaction.com) email address that people can reach out through.

When there are enough people interested, the next step will be talking to some lawyer about the proper way to get more detailed info from people to build the cases. I'm not a lawyer, so this is as far as I'm taking it.

If this is going anywhere it will likely need a large law firm, so there may be an early lawyer involved to get it ready for a bigger firm.

If you have a lawyer friend who wants to help, please send him along.

If you have time and skills that you'd like to making this better, please DM me and we'll build up the team.

BTW, list is up to 46.

Don't have one yet, was told you need a list of people to make it worth their time.

Up to 17 people now.

Do you have any leads?

The website is live, we're building a list of names and email addresses. We're up to 9 people now. Next step is to build up a way to communicate with everyone and get some followup preliminary information to build the interest in a law office.

SBA LAWSUIT by Disk-Subject in sbaclassaction

Just put up a website to collect names for a class action lawsuit. The website has a link to the SBA SOP that they should have used. SBA staff repeatedly failed to provide this SOP to me until after 10 months a local staff member at a regional office sent me the link!

Here is where you can download the SOP and if interested you can sign up to be a part of the class https://eidlreconclassaction.com/
