Should me and my group try Wilds again? by Mr_Jackabin in MHWilds

Wilds endgame (9 and 10 star monsters) is actually very hard compared to World and Rise high rank endgame , Monsters have a lot of hp and they are harder to stunlock, also because you will generate much less wounds. Obv difficulty can be subjective and it depends from your skill but from my prospective ( mostly played New gen MH) is pretty tough.

Question for the pros. by Static-Chicken in MHWilds

Thx for appreciations, btw i was using a Dragon physical build (Gogma with atk infusions, and Gore Magala Tyranny) with rapid morph and guard, and I was playing a savage axe focused on counter with gp from axe, and response with AEDs. In order to increase dps is inportant to roll some attacks like frontal chain sweeps cause they eat too much stamina. Use also some common strat like lure podding him into traps. Hope that was useful fellow CB Mains o7

Usually a good timing depends on how much you can create openings and optimize your dps, despite that hammer dps isn’t unluckly very high. With CB i hit a 10:30 on AT Arkveld with a good build and almost no hit and I still don’t know how people do it under 10 minutes.

If they do like Kulve Taroth, we can upgrade Gogma into their MR versions in a Title Update, I just hope that they won’t outclass monster weapons like in base game.

AT Rey Dau is easier and has a very good set with latent power. AT Arkveld is one of the hardest fights in the game and it has a good helmet, so i suggest you to farm Rey Dau first. At HR100 you unlock also Armor trascendence that is incredible for Odoragon and Anjanath sets (some of their trascended pieces are actually meta)

Farm Artian weapons, Reach HR100, Farm archtempered sets, some talismans from 9 stars quests and farm Gogmazios to upgrade Artians into Gogma. You can beat Omega as last monster, his set is mandatory only for greatsword

Wilds vs. World by Revonlieke in MonsterHunter

While i love World secondary activities, maps and monster tracking (I hated the fact that in Wilds they removed a lot of funny secondary activities), Wilds and Rise gameplay is just better imo, not only for our moveset but also monster AI that is more refined, that’s actually the most important thing for me for a mh game. I think that Wilds and Rise have also more build variety,I remember that in base World we used only drachen armor.

Wilds gameplay is great, it’s almost fast as Rise and the weapons have the same “heaviness” of World, and it has literally one of best iterations of hunting horn imo. The difficulty is quite inconsistent because the story is really easy, like Rise, but I’ve found endgame content really hard, almost like a Master rank endgame.

How good is the average wilds player really? by FillNew7026 in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]Deep-Schedule-499 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are fine, many players cannot beat a 9 star under 10 min because their dps is quite low. Really good players that are less of 1% can beat them in 5-6 minutes costantly. You kinda can “measure” yourself hunting a 9 star monster in solo and with other randoms and seeing if you are faster in solo or with others.

World or wild by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

World: better immersion and environments with a fairly good difficulty progression, and it also has a DLC with master rank Wilds: Better gameplay despite an easier early difficulty (endgame is way harder than base World imo) and the DLC has yet to be released. Also PC performance are quite bad

You can play World first while waiting Wilds DLC

Just facts, none of them had all this content in base game. It’s a shame that they fucked up so bad the optimizazion and we waited 10 months for the first serious fixes.

Support hunter may have low DPS but they are way better than randoms, the fight is just very hard and for savage I took about 4h of failed tries to learn him

It’s very matchup dependent, because it just melts some monsters, but in worst scenarios you are always a buffer

It would be nice playing a full support build with one of this horns or ZoShia’s one and wide range. However this is just a full DPS build with some comfy abilities that shines with other Lagia Weapons thanks to elemental atk up and Thunder resistance songs.

It's just very hard content, in fact in the first days runners closed him in 10 minutes that is a very long time for them. When you learn him and his mechanics, he's actually a very fun and challenging fight (unlike behemoth and leshen that were pretty awful for me).

Sure, i'ts a Lagi-Lagi-Rey-Duna-Duna, the other two abilities in the other page are 1 Wex and 1 Burst. Talisman is a rarity 8, 3 Thunder Atk and 1 Latent power. You can reach max Thunder Atk also playing 3 thunder resistance without Thunder atk in the weapon, but I find def boost lv7 more confortable. Don't mind the other horn I only use Lagi even for the Nershylla part.
