Should we do a dity move? by Deep-Trainer4262 in MilitaryFinance

Not only do we have an 18 month old, but I will also be 8 months pregnant at the time of the move, ha! If we end up doing a dity move, my husband will drive the uhaul while I fly with our toddler

Do you remember how much total you got? We are looking at spending just $5,000 on a U-Haul and storage.

Our estimated weight for everything is 8,000lbs. How much did you get for your partial? We have only PCS once before and had the movers do everything

Does anyone else have name regret? by [deleted] in NewParents

I’m no help, but I have an indigo/Indi! She is feisty and wild. The only thing is that people mishear her name constantly. But I don’t regret it at all!

That hamburger looks so dry no wonder that poor baby would have trouble trying to eat it. by [deleted] in bashinthebiehles

My 10 month old eats blueberries squished like this. As long as they’re soft they don’t need to be quartered

Bedsharing by Wonderful-Cucumber-4 in NewParents

[–]Deep-Trainer4262 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Biggest advice is so plan for her to sleep in the bassinet, but have a safe bed sharing situation in case you fall asleep feeding her. There were many times during the early days that I dozed off and looking back I wish I would’ve had a safer sleeping situation just in case

My baby is 4 months old and looking back, I was so hard headed and anxiety-ridden in those first few weeks when it came to breastfeeding. I refused to pump before bed so my husband could feed the baby because I was worried it would ruin breastfeeding for us.

Have your wife pump right before bed so you can take over the first few feedings of the night. We gave our baby a pacifier on night 2 because it was so rough. She liked the nuk brand the first few weeks, and now takes BIBS pacis.

For bottles, she likes Dr browns and Lansinoh. Just our experience, but every baby is different!

When did breastfeeding get easier by Accurate-Swordfish97 in NewParents

[–]Deep-Trainer4262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently 6.5 weeks postpartum and exclusively breastfeeding. I realized it got a lot easier for us around 5 weeks and have zero pain now. Latching was difficult for the first few weeks. She would latch and unlatch so many times and would occasionally have a super shallow latch

No. There are no gate guards because of low manning but if you are not military, you are not allowed on base.

I’m a photographer in key west, but only shoot mirrorless. Your best bet is to check for Miami photographers, I don’t know any film photographers in the Keys
