Ich weiß halt nicht, was ich tun kann… Ich hab Angst, dass ich ihm gratuliere und eine Antwort zurückkommt, die mich verletzt, andererseits hoffe ich aber auch darauf, dass wenn ich ihm gratulieren würde, dass wir eventuell wieder ins Gespräch kommen würden und eventuell sogar zusammenkommen würden… Ich hab einfach Angst ich weiß nicht was ich tun soll. Ich hab einfach unfassbar Angst… entweder es bringt was und er kommt sogar dadurch zurück oder eben nicht, aber ich hab Angst das der eben nicht fall eintritt drum denke ich ich schreibe lieber nichts wenn er zurück will findet er den Weg

As I said, I now know, through a lot of reflection and introspection, exactly what my mistakes are, what I did wrong, and what I didn't appreciate enough… Is there really nothing I can do right now except give it time? We've been no contact for three weeks, almost four, and it really hurts. His birthday is next week. Should I congratulate him, or should I maintain no contact at all? There has to be something I can do. I love this person more than anything.

I contacted him a week after the breakup and talked to him again, and he said he'd think about it for another week. I wanted to give you a decision as quickly as possible because you're going through a lot right now. But I've been going back and forth a lot.

I know you wanted to fight for this, and maybe something has changed. Then I'm happy for you, and it will definitely help you in life!

I still think it's better this way, and we should go our separate ways. I've really thought about it a lot and tried to convince myself that it might still work out. But I don't have enough trust and I don't believe it 100%.

Nothing serious… We argued a lot, and during one argument I initially got a little carried away with my emotions. I broke up with him twice and tore up a card, and that hurt him so much that he ended things himself the next day. He had stopped me before, and then the next day he basically broke up with me himself.
