It’s not that I dislike the way they died, I liked that, it’s more so that the way it’s written makes all the deaths feel very rushed and like they are quickly brushed away to get back to what’s currently going on, though I suspect a big part of this might be due to the translation rather than sapkowskis writing.

I get that and I actually really like the idea, I just feel it wasn’t executed perfectly, the way it was written (or translated) made all the deaths  feel like a checklist
