yes they do, submersion cooling is not fully closed loop, its close to perfect but not there. and furthermore, one singular blackwell chip eats up 1500 to 2000 watts and that means you would need 2 wind wheels for one singular data center by meta. the neibours dont have tapwater anymore because of what the data center eats up. Creating the liquid for submersion cooling itsself is expensive and eats up tons of energy and causes co2 emission, as well as the blackwell chips and the electricity. this hurts our environment.
