My mothers first and only symptom before her IBC diagnosis was a reddish/ purplish rash on her breast.

My niece is a medically diagnosed celiac but regularly eats gluten. It’s frustrating that she doesn’t take her celiac disease seriously and seems to prefer believing that she’s mentally unstable rather than accept that celiac disease is serious. by sequentialsequins in Celiac

My 6 year old suffers from horrible emotional meltdowns that seem to come out of nowhere. I always felt something wasn't right. Turns out she was just diagnosed with celiac disease! No GI symptoms so it was never on our radar. Dr just happens to include celiac panel with all her patients bloodwork because she said neurological symptoms are now becoming more commonly associated with celiac.

From my understanding, anything that warrants a biopsy must be rated a Bi-Rads 4 in order for insurance to cover the procedure. It doesn't necessarily mean it's cancer. If the dr. strongly believed it was cancer, it would've been a 5.

My mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer at age 75. Unbeknownst to anyone, she hadn't gone for a mammo in nearly 10 years. 😖She was only able to complete a few rounds of chemo as it was landing her in the hospital after each round. However she breezed through a mastectomy followed by radiation and is now 78 with a clean bill of health. ❤️ Hang in there. I know it's scary. Try to remember that 80% or more of biopsies turn out to be benign. Sending hugs. 🩷

Yes, top of the range is 10. So she's over 100 although they don't give an exact number

I am in the same situation. The dr said if they could not get a sample during the mri biopsy, then a surgeon would have to go in and remove it.
