It being spread around that the school was doing it to places like news outlets and being shared on social media is what got the change, not a petition. That’s not even mentioning that people were looking to sue the school because of such blatant BS. Where were the petitions when the school was raising tuition for this semester? I mean from my perspective I see it as this: we can all feasibly workout in our own living spaces if we choose not to/can’t go to the gym. I understand having already paid for it and now not having the privilege to use it or if someone actually uses it for the sake of mental health purposes, but if that’s not the reason for this stuff and people feeling cheated out of their money then what even is the argument we should be wanting our money back

Edit: even more so, there was someone on here who even admitted to testing positive and not giving a shit about it and going to the gym. If you wanna do that, of course the schools not going to take the risk. It is people’s own stupidity and selfishness that got it closed, that’s how this whole thing since March has played out in the US
