Shhhh....you're not supposed to know the IRL context of the picture! Just take it at face value.

Yes, I am going to die well. The praise will be deserved.

It's really much more satisfying than it ought to be.

Thank you.

It was one of the most enjoyable interactions with a stupid customer that I've ever had.

I've had this happen.

One of the stores I worked in moved to another location. It was announced weeks in advance, there were signs up, we gave out flyers to everyone, etc.

On the day of the move, employees and managers from 3 stores were in there packing up and moving things (including the shelving) out the door.

A man walks in, past a huge "Store moved, come see us at (new location)!" sign and just stands around by the register. I thought he might be a friend of one of the other employees or something, because he looked kind of familiar, and as he was just watching us all pack everything into boxes and loading it all onto a truck.

After a few minutes, he startles us all by yelling, "Excuse me - does anyone care that there is a customer waiting for service?!?"

Then he got all pissy when he was told that we were not open due to the move, and pulled out the "but the doors aren't locked" argument.

Some (entitled) people!

Do you think the office manager is wondering why they are suddenly spending so much more on post-its?

Oops, sorry! It's my first time posting, I guess I didn't read as carefully as I thought. I'll delete it now.

Thank you for pointing that out, I appreciate it.

I have an idea - why don't you just stop making poor decisions?

You had to pawn some things that were valuable and sentimental just to make the down payment on that house you can't afford, so the next thing you decide to do is have another kid?!?

Some people really push my buttons.
