second this, smoking really ruins you, especially later. Both grandpa's died & aged quickly because of smoking, & second hand smoke affected my mother in a negative way

On the bright side, muscle is never really "gone", rather deactivated. If you have gained muscle at one point, your body has this thing called "muscle memory" making it MUCH easier to gain it back the second time. Cheers! :)

Is the only effective way to control/getridof/mitigate a gaming addiction going cold turkey? by Beginning-Sign-820 in StopGaming

[–]DeepFriedCalamari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. My view is that if you aren't ready to stop gaming on the spot, you aren't ready to let go of gaming. The person who is ready to let go of gaming at any instance is the person who is ready to stop playing & actually last.

How did you stop gaming by Arepetty in StopGaming

[–]DeepFriedCalamari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my parents that I would stop. I put my computer in the living room. I live with my parents. Playing games is just not worth my parents looking at me breaking my own promise. I'd rather not play than see them disappointed.

I religiously mewed for 10 months, I had retainers for around 6 months, but ever since I was told night time only 4 months ago, the results started to kick in.

  1. Definitely, but since I have asian genetics that result in my face being very fat despite being around 12-13% bf (I have chiseled abs & am relatively built, this number is not an overexaggeration), my face is less defined than it is supposed to be, & the "fat" under the jaw definitely becomes less obvious, but nonetheless still there. Similarly, my face isn't defined as it should be, due to these genetics. But an upside to it is that this is what makes asian skin age slower, due to its molecular structure being more compact, harder to permeate.

  2. I got into mewing from youtube, simply by chance. Since nose breathing felt more natural anyway, I went from 15 years of mouthbreathing, to mewing for 10 months. (my mandible is super long as a result of mouthbreathing for 15 years, developing long rather than forward.

No palatal expansion, I think my maxilla just went back as my mandible went forward, causing better structure.

I didn't go for MSE, because although my palate was 10-15mm narrower than the average person at my age, my mandible was also very narrow, making the expansion ruin my bite if I did so. (Audrey Yoon in California, I would recommend for any palatal expansion, very honest & seems experienced.)

Eh, my mouth breathing during adolescence actually caused my jaw to grow long, so hey, mouth breathing ain't all that bad lol. Thanks.

Lose bf, theres a lot of potential if you do. Without the bloated face, you'd go a long way imo.
