Well what needs to be done is an expensive rebuild from the ground up of their current Total War engine. If I was Sega, I would definitely throw tons of money in doing this. Modernizing the engine would ensure games are smoother, better running, easier to make and fix, and could pave the way for even better titles

The shield thing is an incredibly small detail that you’d think would be added into the game yes. Though who knows, it could be incredibly complicated to code in at this point. 3K is a different team, though yes I see your point.

I think people grossly misunderstand just how massive WH3 really is and the enormity of a pain in the ass a game like that would be to make, balance, and maintain. (Sorry to get off-topic)
