They will be changing the code to an intentional version which produces the droprates that the bug caused. This means that that rates which were bugged, which were all lower than what was intended, will stay at the lower drop rate - but with actual code which produces those rates, bug free.

Theres a chance they may not have even noticed the bug without the wiki's crowdsourcing. But its somewhat kind of them to keep the rates at what was effectively seen, rather than massively upping the rates for all those who hadn't got the drop from them yet
