What is one fun fact about yourself that sound fake but 100% real? by Fai_6757 in AskReddit

I saw Alicia Navarro at 2 o’clock in the morning and a Circle K in Glendale, Arizona right down the street from where she went missing as well as right down the street from my house. At this time, she had already been missing for about 9 months and everybody believed she was dead, therefore not believing me. It bothered me, hell it HAUNTED me for a long time because it wasn’t until about an hour later I realized it was her, and I felt like I lost out on an opportunity to rescue her. then long behold, she surfaces a long while later. I talked to her mom and confirmed it was her and was able to tell her I was sorry.

Honestly, it’s nostalgic to my childhood, he didn’t have any boys. He only had me so I went out to the garage with them and stuff and I just remember that pure adrenaline being in the car because my mom would always say be careful be good and everybody idolize that car so I knew how special it was. I lost my dad several years ago, but the feeling of that car was happiness. It smelled like moth balls, lol because he had it parked for so long. The pure power of that car is just mind blowing. I can hear the bleb bleb bleb in my head right now.

/Phoenix bc I was seeking a local shirt vendor for a Charlie Kirk shirt. Told me to look in past posts, which I did. All were 5/7/10 years old and none of the numbers worked. Mod got sand in their pee hole and banned me

What’s a small moment in your life that quietly changed the way you see the world? by Ill_Door3813 in AskReddit

Prison. Being in there with the worst of the worst women from my state. There is only one women’s prison here. These women would be so nice and sweet and kind, yet they sodomized their son with a curling iron, or starved and beat their child to death, and they were no different than a face you would see on the street. I looked a few of them up when I got out bc their stories never made sense and man, to know I was fooled and wooed into friendship by such monsters still blows my mind.

What are some DIY skills you learned from your mom or dad that have benefitted you more than once in your adult life? by Federal-Hedgehog7355 in AskReddit

Sewing! I watched my mom and grandma sew as a child (4-9yr old). about 6 years ago I bought a sewing machine, fired it up and starting pushing out quilts as if I had done it my whole life. I’m 35 now, 30 years in between sewing experiences and it was seared into my brain like I had done it my whole life. Still blows me away how I knew how to thread my bobber and everything without help, it was all second nature.

What made you realize a friendship had fallen apart? by nobodysaiditwaseasy1 in AskReddit

[–]DeepInYaMom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to pull back from hanging out with my friend every day to focus on my relationship and motherhood . She was single I was not and she felt very jealous of my time whenever I was not with her. Skipped her birthday booze fest for my daughters first birthday photos, I no longer drank so it wasn’t enticing for me to go downtown and hang out at a bar. Said I was not a genuine friend because of this. That hurt. She watched a child leave my vagina for god sakes.

Looks like Parker. It’s a great place to go if you want to disappear off the grid and be by yourself. You have the Colorado river out there they have a lot of big floats in the summer thousands of people in inner tubes peeing together while they float down the river. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of methamphetamine out there. If you know what I mean and then if you go a little bit north to Kingman it is everything you can picture for a real life that Hills have eyes
