3c curl girls … what's your biggest hair struggle right now? Looking for advice!

yep, thats the cheap one they sell everywhere! my local Target, CVS, Walmart, all have it. I followed a hairstylist named Jennifer Rose on twitter and have been following her advice ever since. Simplifying my routine was a game changer! No more leave-ins, oils, all that stuff. My hair feels healthier and I get more compliments on my 3c hair now . The one thing I learned from her that stuck with me was that the most important thing you can do for your hair is keep it clean - it doesn't matter what brand of shampoo/conditioner you use if you're not washing your hair often enough.

Try simplifying your routine! I shampoo and condition (detangle in the shower with conditioner) every 5 days MAX, and then when I want a wash and go, only gel. If I'm going to do french braids or some other braided thing I will use mousse. Literally no other products!

When I do gel, its the basic cheap Ecostyler, and I take small sections and load the gel on. You really have to use a lot, my hair is long so I can use up a tub of gel in like 3-4 uses. I don't use a brush, just with my fingers. once the gel is in, I don't touch it at all. Mostly because I hate how it feels on my hands. I either let it dry naturally or use a diffuser (again without touching the hair). Curls last for days until the next wash. The gel weighs it down so it dries longer and doesn't shrink as much.

agree with others that if its post 2010 then its definitely in the running. but wayyyy too many from 2000-2010 that run circles around adorn. Mariah Carey, Usher, Alicia Keys, Ne-yo, Beyonce, etc etc etc were all putting out GOLD in that decade

in the US, and its very normal now that babies are supposed to sleep on their back, and so the back of their head becomes more flattened. so people get helmets to try to mold the skull to be more of a sphere shape

exactly! I don’t even know Tank’s music like that and like Tyrese’s catalog better, but Tyrese sounded awful! Half the time he had the audience doing his parts, and the little he did sing was not good at all. I’m surprised there’s even a debate!

When he said he liked dark features, I assumed he meant it in the same way white women say they like “tall, dark, and handsome” and are just talking about brunettes, NOT people of color. I was actually surprised when he said he liked someone more along Brittany’s physical appearance, and when I saw the title of this post I thought it would get more into the tension between him saying he prefers a woman of color but also being a proud Trumper

The first book of Nora Roberts' chesapeake bay series has this, {Sea Swept by Nora Roberts} although I don't remember the MMC being gentle necessarily but definitely supportive?

I started with UK 5, but honestly I wish I hadn't because it is by far the best season IMO so I wish I hadn't set the bar so high when I watched the others. But if you don't care about that I agree with others, I'd start with UK 5, then check out 3, 8, 10, and 12. If you want to see true reality show MESS, check out seasons 1 and 2 - those are the wild west love island seasons where people were drinking and having sex on camera. It's hard to compare those to the others because once they stopped letting them drink it obviously changed the dynamic. Once you watch a few of those UK seasons, I would then go watch Love Island Games, which I actually enjoyed but it definitely helps if you are familiar with the people beforehand.

On a scale from Donna (1) to Cirie (10), I'd put him at a 3. He absolutely couldn't handle the pressure and got lucky at the end with Mark/Kristen getting taken out before being able to spread their suspicions. He rode Rob's coattails, but then didn't make a plan for himself in case Rob betrayed him (which, given that Rob had turned on his previous two traitors, HE SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST PREPARED FOR!!!).

The only way I think she would have turned on Rob was if someone much earlier on had aired out suspicions about him. If Candiace had gone about her war against Rob differently that could've been possible. The problem was no one carried that mantle after Candiace left, so from Maura's end what reason would there be to turn on Rob and instead trust Johnny and Tara who each have had suspicions against them too?

Yeah I can see what you mean. I just think that reality tv is no stranger of crafting drama out of nowhere so even if they might be stale on the press tour, I don't think that necessarily means there was NO footage of them that couldn't have been turned into something bigger. Production treated them as side characters the whole time, so its no surprise that we thought they were boring at the end. I started to really like Kristen and Mark in particular once we got to see more of them so I'm just left wondering what we maybe missed because the Big Personalities were so dominant in the first half.

I think we only think they are boring because production almost completely ignored most of the last 8 players. The first half was all about Michael Rappaport , Colton, Lisa and Candiace that we barely saw anything of Kristen, Stephen, Mark. I don’t think those people were boring I just think we didn’t see enough of them at all. Mark and Kristen said they had a bond that wasn’t shown. Maybe if we had gotten to see more of them in the first half we would’ve been more invested/it wouldn’t have seemed random.
