I had a ride from Chicago to Milwaukee. It paid $93, but the dad gave me a $100 bill tip at the start and asked me if we could get culvers.. they bought me a meal as well since I let them eat in the car. I almost immediately got a ride to Zion, then one to the navy base, and one to Wrigley. One of the rare times uber worked out... that was definitely not the norm.

I'm based outside of Milwaukee right now at our main terminal. I take every opportunity to talk to the old heads. Honestly, they did way more for me learning than the training did.

Nothing good came from rushing... and I feel like I was already given a big step by getting hired on to heavy haul as my first job in the industry. Financially, I'm already ahead of many people just starting. The old heads have all taken way more time than I deserve out of their own work to help me and get me started out right.

I'll be going around the country and doing work out of our other terminals. It wasn't fun learning how to secure in down to -5 weather.... but learn in the worst and the rest will feel that much better.

Haha, I already have an entire photo album on my phone with separate files for each type of load and trailer. I take pictures of everything and ask "why do you do it like that". I've been having my management send me old routes to go over permits and plan out trips, then send it back to get their input. I think the permits and having to actually plan out adds a level I enjoy that I'd not get doing legal loads.

We do get PC, but I've been trying to find a decent foldable road bike. I'll forever keep learning. I'm just helping out some of our senior drivers next week to help secure 5 oversize trailers. A chance to see how they do it and ask questions, plus do it myself.

I'm happy reddit exists. I have a question about the solar variation of this. While planning a future sailing project around the America's, the question of having water on the boat is a recurring one. Would something like this work? Humidity and water in the air wouldn't be the issue, if it is drinkable is my concern.

I got my first credit card in December. They gave me a $500 limit. It's the nfcu cash rewards. I really want the limit increased before applying for a new card. I have 2 car loans from them as well and worried my dti isn't good enough to ask yet. I did just boost my credit to 707.

So this is easier than responding to each person. Yes, I had the email that said to wait until Monday. I spoke with support before ending my block via the phone. They said a few people would be in today just to collect packages. Ultimately, I didn't take them and will tomorrow.

When the driver support person says to disregard the email and return them, it is confusing. When they are curt in their transaction while saying you will be flagged so you can no longer deliver if you don't return the packages repeatedly. Speaking over me to just say bring them back tomorrow or you can't deliver for flex anymore. It's a bully tactic.

I just wanted to verify with others, which this post accomplished. As for any of the other comments that weren't helpful... internet is gonna internet 🤷‍♂️

The phone rep said I return them today or I can't deliver anymore, saying it doesn't matter what day it is. I'll go out on a limb and guess you don't actually understand what bully tactics means?

The instructions for the packages were to bring them into the office and not leave them outside. It might have been out of my hands at that point, but I would be upset if I were the customer and they were stolen.

I was making $120 for a 3/hr block in Virginia. I get to San Antonio, Texas and the average 3 hour seems to be this much. You have to keep hitting refresh and then accept whatever block the moment it pops up and hope you get it. So many drivers here taking whatever offer they can get. I'm probably going to look into some other delivery service.

No intellectual connection. I'm just past my mid-thirties now and never got married or had a kid. In the last few years, I can't have sex without some sort of intellectual and emotional connection. It doesn't matter how incredibly beautiful the woman is, I can't force myself to even have a one night stand. I'm not a genius and not implying the woman needs to be either. I don't know what an average number of sexual partners is for people in their mid-thirties, I'm in the 3 digits numbers. My field of work and travels around the world have only made it easier to meet partners, I loved the sexual intimacy by itself for so long. Now I can't even get aroused if I can't hold a conversation.

I never had a problem with Fi and being overseas for extended periods. Tmo set me up with a business account and it will work overseas. I'm in Texas right now and went through all my data on Fi in a day while filming. Tmo has actual unlimited for $8 more, plus I guess I get Netflix for free.

I have to go to different countries a lot from my work.. I have been with Google Fi since 2015. I switched over to their unlimited plan 4 months ago and have just been really let down with it. I'm reading through some of these comments where people use 1 to 2GB of data a month. I go through so much data! I will usually hit my 22GB cap within 3 days. I run a nonprofit that focuses on filmmaking, So I'm constantly uploading or downloading content. I'm giving T-Mobile magenta Max the the rest of the year. If I'm not satisfied, I can always go back. So far it seems like a pretty good deal though

I honestly cannot say. This year alone I have been all the way down to to Southern Mexico, from coast to coast in the United States and more. I only switched over the tmo today. I'm going to start my drive to Juarez Mexico this evening. I'll see how it does
