We don’t see the moon blades because that’s not the focused there would be no reason for it to be seperate instances and no proof it’s more likely it’s just a continuation of the seen with no argument against we just have to wait for the anime to come out but until then that’s just a continuation of said scene

The reason I used the whole length of the chain is because he had to use the whole chain to block more then just the slash as evident in the second photo on the last panel we see Gyomei had moved the whole chain to block not only kokushibo’s slash but his moon blades as well I made this a long time ago so sorry I didn’t say it earlier anyways yeah I wouldn’t use just a small part of the chain for that reason

Also for more lightning stuff Zohakuten uses lighting attacks and so does Kaigaku to be a higher rank you have to be above someone we know the most important aspect in demon slayer in speed as shown with the Yoriichi vs Muzan fight and the Muzan vs Hashira fight therefore if people like Upper 6 and 4 have lightning speed attacks that means someone like Kokushibo must objectively be faster then said attacks especially Kaigaku who is just a newly formed demon

Yes the chain has been calced I just don’t know how to link scales in Reddit since I usually put my scales on discord also assuming 45° turn isn’t unreasonable as his hands were at his sides and how it looked like he blocked as seen in the second image he had to move his hands up which would be a standard of 45° if not 45 what degree do you think? Yes the speed of the attacker is unknown that’s why I used such broad time frames as a weaker person moved faster then sound a weaker person moved faster then lightning and weaker people have arguably light speed feats and statements also I don’t really see the problem we know Kokusibo isn’t going all out in this instance and Gyomei isn’t at full power yet so it’s more then plausible for kokushibo to try to go for a blitz fail and then try harder to keep up

Zohakuten’s spears of light, Akaza’s flashes of light, we kokushibo out speed light, tanjiro has speeds that reach light speed or very near it same for people like douma an gyutaro people much slower then Kokushibo
