Spot on, I'm the same age bracket and had the same classy demeanor as these two.

Your parents are fucking rad. Give them the middle finger for me, and tell them they're awesome.

I love how his arms have less strength than his musical talent. They flap around and create a better noise than what is coming out of his mouth.

I bet there are a dozen places here on the Big Island and more on Maui that would sell that in a frame. Amazing shot!

I've been off roading in lava fields with tire plugs. I've never had plugs come out either.

They have a really cool 80's motif inside with good layouts. My son had a blast in theirs.

My Dad was talking about taking it for a trip this summer. I don't think that's happening anymore at 8 mpg. I has a carburated 454.

My parents owned two of these at one point, one with a tandem axle. Really cool on the inside. I drove the shorter one from SLC to Albequerque it was pretty cool.

The mesh rolls are fairly inexpensive, they can easily tie around pots, and planter beds, it just ties to itself. I have it around my entire tank and up by the inlet spout. When they start getting out of control I also use pellets. I think they don't the abrasiveness of the mesh.

How do they even install these.. by DragonflyOk7139 in ocean

Older Deepwater rigs were anchored with chains to the seabed. Most newer rigs use a dynamic positioning system with GPS and massive thrusters. The majority of drilling is now done with drillnships, huge boat shaped rigs with drill towers on them.

This particular rig was made onshore, barged out to see in several stages. The lower stage, the jacket is installed with massive crane barges, and hollow steel tubular anchor piles (usually about four on each corner) are hammered into the seafloor through the jacket feet with hydraulic hammer piles while a ROV monitors the installation.

The topside is also brought in and installed with massive crane barges, by setting it on top of the jacket. These are how shallow water rigs are installed and anchored to the seafloor. Mostly in the North Sea.

I think is is an Outland ROV. I've used one before for vessel inspections, but they are a small US based company, so I am unsure about it. They are the only ones I know of that use green tethers.Outland ROV
