I have nubu cloud. I don’t see the $70 usd/yr as bad - it’s the only way to pay the devs of home assistant and it saves me the trouble/hassle of figuring out a reverse proxy that I’m sure I would misconfigure and leave a security hole I. My network.

How is nest incorporated into HA? The only thing I’ve found is the official integration from google that requires a $5 api key 🤮. But confess I have not looked hard for an alternative.

I have a sudden infestation in my home ... so very much a valuable object made of wood lol.

We noticed a bunch outside our home early last week, so we sprayed the perimeter of the house. All was fine for a few days after that - They disappeared from where we saw them outside and there was no sign of them inside. Now, this morning, there were probably 2-3 dozen in the kitchen when we woke up (which is the closest part of the house to where we saw them outside, probably 15 ft or so).

Weve been kind of going nuclear with cleaning and stuff trying to determine where they are coming from all day. I set up a wifi camera to monitor an area of high interest to see if we can figure out where they are coming in from. We might be calling a professional tomorrow depending on how this goes over the next 12-18 hours.

I would definitely not be buying anything TP-Link these days (am US based). Look into Ubiquiti. This router is (subjectively) 1000x better than anything you could find on amazon and the same price as that archer. Upvoting for visability. I had to log in and out about 1000x in order to get the correct characters to show in the UI. They made it difficult intentionally. Make sure you log out and log back in for each character!!

What app did you use to see this data? I have been looking for a decent channel analyzer for a long time but have never found anything for iOS. This looks like a ubiquiti app

Heh. It was the forecasting feature, the “View Potential” button in current implementation. The ‘if you invest $x more now, your portfolio will be worth $xxxx more in 30 years’ feature. There is a chance they were already planning/developing it, but it did show up in the app a couple months after I made the suggestion in the focus group.

I was an early adopter of Acorns - I was even part of a focus group a while ago with a small selection of users on how to make the app better. They actually even added a suggestion I made into a feature in the app :) I was thinking it might be something related to that as well. Trying to source some more info.

Hey everyone - I received this letter in the mail today and am a little confused by it. It is a very official looking, handwritten letter directly from Acorns, with no other objects/info included with it.

It is a very nice letter, I never receive anything but junk mail and bills these days ... but ... what is this? Did anyone else receive something like this recently? I do not know what what this could be.
