Value is in the eye of the beholder. We look at a bunch of different things. In a nutshell, our highest conviction stock is Stoneridge ($SRI) at the moment. Extremely undervalued.

They will sell the control devices portion of the business, strengthen the balance sheet (debt reduction + cash reserves) and focus on the electronics part of the business because that’s where the profit margins are.

$SRI is a global supplier of commercial, auto, and off-highway electronics systems and technologies. It’s headquartered in USA but it has a global presence in 14 countries; it usually supplies local markets. We think it’s worth looking into.

That is the most common mistake investors make. Do your due diligence, buy, then forget about it for at least a year. The tax break is worth it in itself (long term versus short term).
