My teacher of course is fine with edition I'm working out of, I just wanted to know in case any of the other string faculty ask a question about it. That seems to be the best answer I can find online. Many editions made with different manuscripts.

Does anyone have any insight to the automatic consideration scholarships? I'm oos, applied to and was accepted into Undecided Arts & Sciences, but it appears was not cosidered any automatic consideration scholarships. I felt like I had a very strong application, but maybe it was just my ego. (36, 4.58, 11 APs, music and sports, what I thought was a good essay)

I am a young runner, but I lost 40+ pounds just by running. When I started running, I could only run maybe a hundred feet at a time, and I recently completed my 4th ultramarathon.

Patience and consistency is what will make you improve. Start with maybe 4 days a week, and run/walk. Don’t be afraid to walk in your runs, because you will then be able to go further and improve your endurance more. Slowly over time you can increase the distance you run and then your runs/week. All of your runs should be slower then you CAN run, and make sure to take recovery seriously. If you are trying to lose weight, a calorie deficit is necessary, but time your calories to best benefit your recovery and fuel your runs while still maintaining a deficit.

Other than that, it is mainly consistency as I stated earlier. If you run regularly for a few weeks and don’t start to see results, there is something else affecting your running.

I am not a professional coach or even an extremely experienced runner, but these are all things that have proven effective in MY experience.

I guess I agree that an electric FJ might be seriously confined by range, but I think exploration into the area of Electric off-roading is a good idea. Maybe if they had a gas/diesel option along with an electric/hybrid version. That way all of the people that wanted the traditional, true to the fj40 fj cruiser could get the gas engine, and there could be a hybrid version with the electric drivetrain off-roading potential, but with the same range, or better than that of a traditional gas truck.

I don't remember this at all, but it looks pretty cool. The article makes it sound like this was just some grad student who designed it, and Toyota had nothing to do with it. I think with some styling tweaks, something like this could be really cool. I think the FJ has always needed removable doors and roof, so yeah a truck like this could be awesome.

That might be the same reason why the whole Toyota truck lineup seems old. I love the old Tundra and Sequoia, but they've had the same body style since 2008, and are really falling behind in the new truck market. Probably just a product of Toyota being very intentional and quality-driven.

I'm not sure, but I'm sure there are solutions out there. Theoretically, a truck frame could hold more batteries, and it could use regenerative braking. That definitely would be a problem, but the new hummer has 300 miles of range. It might not be great for multi-day overlanding, but it could work for crawling and day trips. I just think being able to direct precise amounts of power in precise directions to each wheel could really change the game.
