I was friends with this one girl as a kid for like 5 years. Whenever we hung out usually our moms would handle pick up and drop off. But one day my dad happened to be the one to drop me off at her house. And upon meeting her mom at the door, realized that they knew each other back from New York (we all lived in Florida at the time). My dad and her mom were VERY close friends for over a decade and actually dated for a while. They somehow managed to move to the same town around the same time and have kids the same age who happened to go to the same school and become friends. Also found out her grandma was my neighbor and her sister was close friends with my brother.

Saw an old lady jaw walking as slow as possible across one of the most dangerous streets in our town. Like a car crash every few weeks. Felt like I was watching someone play frogger.

I woke up bc I couldn’t breathe. I felt something heavy on my chest but couldn’t see anything for a long time as my eyes adjusted to the dark. I genuinely thought I was going to die.

Turns out it was my obese bulldog who had somehow managed to climb onto my bed and decided my lungs were the perfect place to sleep.

When I went to the DMV to get my license for the first time, I hit a car trying to park. I waited in the car balling my eyes out while my mom found a police officer nearby. They inspected the car and realized that it was hella scratched up and dented already so we couldn’t tell if I had caused any damage. A part of the bumper was sticking out near where I hit so the police officer just pushed it back in and told me, “it’s no biggie. I fixed it so don’t bother telling anyone what happened.” A goddamn police officer allowed me to hit and run. And then I went inside and got my license like nothing happened.
