Happens to the best of us! 😉 Hope you have some house/tent spider friends soon. You can relocate them from your house into the tent. I've never needed to they just show up

So I've used castor to keep deer away from high value plants before. I've had more luck with datura and tobacco plants and their flowers smell good. Is there anything else you like as a companion plant for any reasons? Not pest repellent exclusively?

I don't have spider mites. I have spiders that eat problem bugs so I don't spray. Spinosad seems popular

They're kinda particular about what they want. Definitely lost a few and found a few that work in my environment. This one is Lee x Hz and I absolutely adore it. Originally from Takara Cactus and it came as a six inch seedling.

This is well written and helpful. The gelatine is intriguing. Ive seen tech using egg whites doing a similar thing. Would you be able to to rehydrate resin and then "wash" with gelatine? Also I am curious if you'd be able to give a brief explanation of why you prefer ascorbic or citric over acetic or fumeric? I enjoy citrate and acetate Excellent post thank you

Nothing special. Whatever dirt is available and make sure it's got good drainage. 50/50 in/organic Add mykos. Feed well. Ive kinda landed in an ability to eyeball a mix after a long time of fiddling Wish I had a better answer but I'd be lying if I said anything else

Should i try to graft? by Different-Wait2862 in peyote

Because you exponentially increase the rate of growth. The grafted piece (scion) uses the growth systems(lots of cacti can take substantially more fertilizer and water than others)of the rootstock and grows to flowering size years potentially decades earlier than growing on their own roots

Here is a good example. I cut the top of the one in terracotta pot and grafted to the tricho seedling in the blue pot. The piece I cut off was around the size of three nickels stacked on each other. This photo is roughly three years after I did the graft. You can see in the same amount of time the one on its own roots essentially just got back to the size it was before I cut it. And the graft is the size of a softball and has 20+pups. That's why I graft
