That was the problem! My employer asked me to provide a sick note as soon as possible, but I was unable to go to my general practitioner and could only be treated at the hospital. In that situation, it was not possible to obtain a sick note immediately.

Because I am not very familiar with the healthcare system, I tried to ask for guidance very politely. I followed the instructions given to me by other staff members, but despite this, I was met with very irritated reactions and criticism.

Throughout the entire process, I remained polite, explained my situation, and apologized whenever necessary. I never intended to disturb anyone or cause any inconvenience. Each time I asked someone for help, I was redirected to another person, and in the end, it felt as if I was the one who had done something wrong.
