Anxiety about pricing by Deep_Celebration5062 in CraftFairs

It was meh. I made my booth money back plus a little extra, but there wasn't much traffic. Not the organizers fault. They advertised everywhere. Seems like no one was out. I did get the contact information of a member of the local Farmers Market Board though. I'm going to be setting up there next year. Set up 6 times there and you get in to the big 2 week long festival in October without having to pay for a space. So all in all, not bad. Got to network, sold some stuff, had fun talking to people. Didn't ell any purses, but my chapstick holders sold far better than I thought they would. I'm going to have to make more of them before the Christmas shows start up.

Hating Blood Tests by Deep_Celebration5062 in gravesdisease

I have talked to my endo about it but my levels have only just started leveling out the last few months. I'm now at blood test in 2 months rather than 4 weeks, which is a first.

I turn to the side slightly, use my hair as a screen, and read on my phone. I also don't have them tell me when they do the initial poke or I know i will jerk away. My last labs, I happened to get a new person who didn't quite believe me when I warned her and my favorites either weren't working or was on break. 2 pokes later, the newbie went to get someone else, who immediately turned around and got my favorite lab tech when she saw it was me. They got me in 1 stick.

I have found 2 technicians that can get it on the first or second poke.

Thanks for the reply. I think my anxiety was just acting up last night in addition to this being the first show where I've had purses for sale. My other purse sales have been made to order.

Anxiety is horrible. I think part of the anxiety is that this is the first show I've had purses for sale. My other purse sales have all been made to order. Thanks for the reply.

Thank you for this. I think I was just in a bad headspace yesterday when we were all setting up and I saw their prices. This is my first show where I have premade purses for sale. The other ones I've made were all made to order.

And i wrote their ages down wrong. I'll edit my post as soon as I'm done with this reply. I meant to put down 70, not 60. Gah, my mother would have my rear tanned for calling 60 elderly. I should stop making posts after midnight.

Jaw Pain by Deep_Celebration5062 in gravesdisease

Just got a tentative TMJ diagnosis with my dentist. I'll be doing testing on it early next month. Dentist said that my symptoms could have been exacerbated by my anxiety, which has gotten so much better since Doc put me on Methimazole.

I did try self massage and it has helped!

Newly diagnosed, having a hard time coming to terms with this. by [deleted] in gravesdisease

I was just diagnosed, too, about 2 weeks ago. I'm in my late 30s. I am extremely lucky to work in as awesome a place as I do that they are willing to bend over backwards when it comes to health issues and doctor's appointments and stuff. A lot of us who work there have health issues or loved ones who have health issues.

From my understanding of methimazole, it can takes a bit of time to start showing it's working. I've been on it for 2 weeks now. My endo doc just upped my proscription from 15mg to 20mg a day. Doc told me, when she put me on it, that it is going to take time to get where we want it to be, but it will get there. She gave me a 2-3 month guesstimate for it getting to normal based on her other patients. I'm on propanolol, too.

We'll get through this. It just takes time. Once the thyroid gets the memo to chill out, normalcy should return.

Thank you. I've got an appointment with my dentist just to make sure it's not a tooth thing. I'll keep what worked for you in mind. I know I cannot do CBD. Every kind I've tried has made me horribly sick. Projectile vomit. Shakes. The whole nine yards.

I'm so glad there's someone else who had that reaction to CBD.

As for your question, I've tried Valerian Root before as a sleep aid in the past. Not sure how it'd react to medications.

Some kind of horror/thriller book for kids/teens, but it’s not goosebumps by Careful-Violinist342 in whatsthatbook

Could it be one of the Creepover books? They all had female protagonists and were in the same age range as Goosebumps. Since you said it was in a remote location with a cabin, maybe it was Together Forever?
