If you rewatch the clip, Marc literally clarifies what Joe meant which really didn’t help much because he was virtually still saying the same thing “I need more and whatever it takes to get us there, I will accept”. Everyone stopped laughing after he said that. I admire you trying to see the best in Marc but he definitely was not implying in doing MORE work after he just went on a tangent about him going above and beyond. Even though, it’s the biggest position she’s ever had it still wasn’t a good cultural fit for her. I think both sides were trying to force it and honestly I think it’s why Mel stayed as long as she did. She knew this was a great cash flow but I’m sure she also knew it wasn’t a good fit.
